MAHA VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

Our volunteers are the heart of our program!

We are excited for our upcoming 2024-25 Hockey Season and look forward to working with our new and returning volunteers. If you are interested in committing to volunteer this season, please register at the link to the right.  

MAHA has created the following Committees below that the board needs assistance with. When registering please select a Committee you would be interested in Volunteering for.

We also have a created a Team volunteers section for MAHA. This includes volunteers for your players teams. Team managers, locker-room attendants, scorekeepers and clock operators, penalty box, etc. When registering please select a position/s you have interest in.

You can volunteer in both Committee and Team sections.

All volunteers will need to obtain a USA Hockey number, complete USA Hockey Safe-Sport Training, and complete a background check. (background checks are good for two seasons)

MAHA has created the following Committees to assist the board ensuring that the organization is operating with the utmost transparency and provides improved communication to our membership.

Finance- This committee's role is to ensure the integrity of the organization's financial reporting, audit process, and internal controls. The committee will also oversee the organization's financial resources and ensure its fiscal responsibility. 

Sponsorship & Fundraising- Committee will be responsible for securing funding for programs and other needs through corporate, foundations, and individual solicitation. Some responsibilities include:

• creating clear understanding to membership the difference between sponsorship, restricted and unrestricted gifts
•  developing a fundraising plan
•  identifying potential sources of funds
•  developing a sponsorship packet
•  soliciting sponsorship
•  planning member fundraising events

Marketing/Social Media/Photo Collection-  Committee will be respoinsible for updating website, creating a centralized location for photo uplaods, getting events posted to social media and scores updated. 

 Promotional/Apparel- Committee will present the board a list of potential vendors that will support the association and provide items needed to be purchased. Helmet decals, warm-ups, water bottles etc.
